The Directorate of Inspection & Registration of Private Institutions Sindh was established on 12th August, 2004 under “The Sindh Private Educational Institutions (Regulation & Control) Ordinance 2001. At the time of inception there was only one Directorate at Karachi for Registration of Private Educational Institutions. Now there is one Provincial Directorate & Six Regional Directorates at Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur, Larkana & Shaheed Benazirabad

Our Vision is to create a thriving, dynamic and inspiring educational environment in Privately Managed Institutions in Sindh Province to produces self-directed lifelong learners who can achieve full potentials in their academic, creative, personal, physical, moral and spiritual development and stimulate citizens of all ages to trust in, invest in, and benefit from privately managed institutions, so that they can make their best contribution to the country.

Mission of Directorate

Directorate works with Mission to foster students’ success in privately managed institutions of Sindh Province by facilitating, monitoring and evaluating / use of current, proven and effective instructional practices to ensure that each student acquire the knowledge, skills and core values necessary to achieve personal success and to enrich the country.

Function of Directorate

• To Monitor and assist Private Institutions from Pre-Primary to College Level and “O” & “A”- Levels of Province of Sindh for improving quality education.
• To issue Registration / Renewal of Registration to Private Institutions from Montessori, Nursery, Primary, Middle, Secondary / Higher Secondary, “O” & “A”-Levels and Bachelor.
•To conduct inspection of Private Institutions through inspection committees constituted for the registration / renewal of registration.
• To bring un- registered institutions within the legal frame work.
• To make corrections in the Name & Date of Birth of students studying / studied in Private Schools.
• To redress the grievances of complainants / parents and staff of Private Schools.
